Vail Ski Resort
Vail, one of the world’s top ski resorts with superb accommodation, an attractive characteristic village centre with a fabulous après ski atmosphere and the largest ski area in America, stretching 7 miles from its east to west boundaries! The Lionshead area of Vail at the base of the gondola has its own selection of bars, shops and restaurants.
Beginners

Beginners are excellently catered for, with a superb ski school, convenient lifts immediately behind the village, and plenty of long, wide-open, gentle runs right from the top of the mountain.
Intermediates

With 5,174 acres of incredible skiing, you can choose from miles of prepared pistes and superb groomed runs to the world famous Back Bowls. Colorado powder snow is so light that intermediates can enjoy most runs. Make sure to try the 'Blue Sky Basin’.
Advanced

Double black diamond runs like Goshawk and Peregrine will really test the best. Revel in the glory of the acres of virgin powder snow in no less than six massive Back Bowls, plus mile upon mile of mogul fields, creating the perfect skiing experience. A Crystal Ski Escort is based in Vail to introduce you to some of the many highlights.
Snowboarding

Freeriders are spoilt for choice, with powder filled back bowls and the glades for intermediate/ advanced riders. Golden Peak is the domain of the freestyler with both expert and beginner pipes and numerous kickers.
