Kimberley Alpine Resort offers an incredible variety of skiing terrain in a strikingly beautiful setting. There lift queues are clear, the slopes are immaculately groomed, and there is on-slope accommodation all of which makes Kimberley an ideal resort. The resort also features the longest illuminated run in Canada where the slopes are yours to glide and perform on until 9pm, Thursday to Saturday, and the night skiing is included in your lift pass. The resort is situated on North Star Mountain, which has a picture perfect view of the Canadian Rockies across the valley. Kimberley is principally intended for the advanced and intermediate skier with double blacks and powdery off-piste routes that overlook the resort, particularly the black bowls. Beginners will take pleasure in the easy nursery runs and a few blues too. The town of Kimberley itself has a Bavarian theme and is very attractive with many pine structures close to the slopes and lots of bars and restaurants. Alternatively, the Kimberley Alpine Resort is a short 5 minute drive away and home to unique shops, bars and extended dining opportunities.
