Telluride Ski Resort
South-West Colorado’s best kept secret offers exquisite terrain amidst the San Juan Mountains. Telluride’s base camp is split into two sections. Nestled on the canyon floor is the laid-back and funky Old Town which oozes classic Victorian chic - even Tom Cruise has a home here! Overlooking the valley is the more modern Mountain Village, which is at the base of the ski-trails. The two are linked by a unique late-running gondola system. Beginners
There’s plenty for the first-timer here in Telluride. The ski school is top-notch, the instructors friendly and the Sunshine 10 chair a green-run paradise.
Intermediates
There’s plenty of blue and blue-black action to be had all over the hill and don't miss the open glades off Giuseppes.
Advanced
Until recently Telluride was a black-diamond mountain only, so there is more than enough challenging technical skiing here. And then there’s the heli-skiing.
Snowboarding
Telluride offers world-class riding all over the resort, with plenty of natural halfpipes, hits and drops. A highlight is the Air Garden halfpipe and Terrain Park, which is fully-stocked with ramps, rails, spines and gaps.
