Heavenly Ski Resort
This is a spectacular resort with stunning views of Lake Tahoe and Nevada and has plenty of terrain to choose from for all levels of skier from mid-November to late April. The large resort means there is a variety of slopes and a choice of location depending on where you fancy skiing. Sitting on the Californian border with Nevada you can dip in and out of either side of the border for assortment.
Beginners




Heavenly is a wonderful place to learn to ski with wide and gentle nursery slopes and a variety of areas to practice in. There are gentle green runs benefited by lifts at the top of the cable car.
Intermediates




The Californian side is suited to those who want to relax and progress, try coasting along the Ridge Run and working your way from the top of the mountain to the bottom. Or, for those seeking a challenge, try the blue runs towards Sky Deck or cross over to Nevada where there is a variety of terrain and some longer runs.
Advanced



Experienced skiers will have great pleasure flitting from one side of the border to the other, depending on what ski experience you desire. The Californian side has tremendous ungroomed slopes with widely spaced trees, whereas to the Nevada side offers some steeper slopes. The Milky Way Bowl bestows a mellow single-diamond introduction, whilst those looking for genuine double-black-diamond tree runs will find them in the Mott and Killebrew canyons.
Snowboarding



Advanced, intermediate and beginner boarders will all find something in Heavenly to suit their ability. From varied terrain to gentle powder runs there is something to keep everyone occupied.

Apres Ski
There is a really lively atmosphere in Heavenly, with welcoming warm and friendly bars and exciting casinos. The Austrian-style igloo bar near the top of the gondola and Fire & Ice at the foot of it, are both great venues. There are also plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants.
