The charming resort of Villars and the traditional village of Les Diablerets are linked to form one ski area offering a wide range of skiing including the Diablerets glacier. Villars is a large, well established resort located on a sunny plateau with stunning views of the surrounding mountains, low level chalets, a bustling centre and modern amentities. Les Diablerets meanwhile, is a beautiful unspoilt village of comfortable hotels, wooden chalets and traditional farm buildings, dominated by the majestic Diablerets Glacier.
Beginners - 



Villars and Les Diablerets are excellent choices for beginners. Villars has gentle nursery slopes by the resort and also at the top of the Bretaye, reached by the scenic mountain railway. Les Diablerets boasts nursery slopes close to the village centre, easily reached by foot. THe ski schools are excellent and will ensure you are soon onto higher, gentle pistes.
Intermediates - 




Intermediate skiers will really enjoy the wealth of excellent blue and red runs throughout the the linked Alpes Vaudoise network. Try the reds and blues from the top of Le Mazots.
Advanced - 


There is plenty of high mileage skiing in the whole area as well as challenging long runs. On the Glacier des Diablerets, enjoy the 10km red run down the Combe d’Audon.
Snowboarding - 




The area has become more and more associated with snowboarding over the last few years. It has had a lot of coverage in magazines such as Onboard due to Diableret’s year round pipe and park. There is some superb freeriding in the backcountry - hire an off-piste guide to fully exploit it. In early April, Villars hosts "Snowbombing" - the biggest music and snowboard festival in the Alps.
Approx Transfer Time - Geneva 1 hr 30 mins Sion 70 min. Transfers on Saturday are by coach or minibus. For short breaks or transfers on other days tranfers are by train.

Aprs Ski
Both resorts have a variety of venues after a hard day on the slopes. Villars is a cosy village with evening events in peak season. L’Arrive for après ski, Charlie’s Murphy’s, Blues Bar, Central Café and late night El Gringo’s Les Diablerets: Ormonan, MTB and the Eurotel Victoria. To dance the night away, try the Saloon la Pote or Atomix.

Eating Out
Good selection of restaurants for all tastes, ranging from small pizzerias to top quality restaurants and also bistros with price value menus. Villars: Vieux Villars for tasty regional dishes or Le Francis. Les Diablerets: Auberge de la Poste and Les Lilas. Try pizzia above the MTB bar or the great burgers or chinese in the Ormonan bar.
