Engelberg

Largely unknown by British skiers, Engelberg is one of Switzerland’s best kept secrets. At the end of an open sunny valley and dominated by the impressive 3,200m Mount Titlis, it is a large and friendly traditional village. The world’s first revolving cable car provides a unique way to view the varied terrain as you travel to the guaranteed snow on the glacier 2kms above the village. There is plenty of skiing for all levels on the uncrowded slopes and the area offers superb off-piste skiing.

Beginners -

Engelberg is a great resort for beginners with easy runs in the village and gentle runs on the Gerschnialp or the sunny Brunni. The excellent local ski school will ensure you really get the most out of your stay.

Intermediates -

Spend the morning on the blues and reds of the south facing Brunni before heading up to enjoy the north facing slopes. The red runs on the glacier provide excellent high altitude skiing with stunning views across Central Switzerland.

Advanced -

Engelberg really is a paradise for advanced skiers. Although largely unknown in the UK there are endless off-piste opportunites as well as excellent on-piste challenges including the the 2000m decent from the Glacier and the famous Laub. We have teamed up with Snowride to offer you the chance to sample the off-piste first hand.

Snowboarding -

If freeriding is your thing then hook up with a guide and check out the Engelberg off-piste. There is some wicked terrain up on the slopes of Alpstublii and the Laub area for fast powder turns plus a pipe and boardpark at Jochpass to play in.
