Arosa

Placed in the wide sunny bowl of Schanfigg amid forests and tiny lakes, Arosa is surrounded by the Hörnli, Weisshorn and Brüggerhorn peaks. With two well linked ski areas, 70kms of pistes and varied activities for non skiers, this is an excellent choice for families and skiers of all levels. A truly all round ski resort uncrowded, wide open blue and red runs dominate the ski area, however there are some challenging black runs and a half-pipe for advanced skiers and boarders.

Beginners -

There are nursery slopes at Tschuggen. With the expert guidance of the local ski school, beginners will soon be enjoying the wide open, uncrowded, sunny slopes that make Arosa an ideal choice for beginners and families.

Intermediates -

Hilly, rather than mountainous terrain covered in blue and red runs mainly above the tree line makes this a great all round resort for intermediates. Try one of the long red runs down off the Hörnli that link up with some gentle blues to take you into Inner Arosa or back up the Weisshorn.

Advanced -

Expert skiers will enjoy the challenging runs in Arosa. Some of the best advanced skiing can be found on the Hörnli peak and Weisshorn has a couple of great winding black runs.

Snowboarding -

Arosa is keen to promote snowboarding and the well linked 70km of pistes offer some great riding for all levels and styles. Freeriders are going to go mad for the dramatic half-pipe to play in and beginners are going to find it easy to start carving on the wide, hilly terrain.
