Andermatt Ski Resort
An attractive, traditional Swiss ski resort with cobbled streets. The ski area is split over three mountains connected by train and offers great off-piste opportunities and runs aimed at the intermediate and advanced skier. The Gotthard-Oberalp area lift pass also covers the nearby resorts of Disentis and Sedrun. Generous dumps of snow and the north facing Gemsstock slope make this resort a must if you are serious about your skiing.
Beginners

Beginners should not be intimidated by the reputation that Andermatt holds. The quiet, lower slope of Nätschen has some long easy runs to practice on before you tackle the higher Gütsch blue, taking you 900m down to the village.
Intermediates

First try your hand at the blues and reds of Nätschen and then progress to the immaculately groomed Sonnenpiste created for carvers. You'll be sure to hone your skills in this terrain, whilst Winterhorn provides a good selection of mixed pistes for all levels of intermediate skier.
Advanced

The great Gemsstock is steep, long and unforgiving, these tracks will test even the most expert skier. From the top of the Gemsstock cable car, the north facing bowl beneath it is an exhilarating 800m drop black run with numerous off-piste opportunities. The Winterhorn and Nätschen areas also provide runs for serious skiers.
Snowboarding

Freeriders looking for fantastic off-piste riding in deep powder will not be disappointed and Freestylers have a fun park and half pipe on the Gemsstock to play in. The Sonnenpiste is going to give Carvers those fast sections they need to crank some big turns on.
