Voss Ski Resort
Situated in the heart of fjord country and surrounded by glaciers and mountains, Voss is well known for its unique and unspoilt beauty. Skiing is a joy of life for the locals, with everything from downhill slalom, telemark and snowboarding to cross-country skiing being readily available. Well known in the world of competition skiing, Voss has hosted many World Cup events, and it generally attracts the more sporty skier who enjoys off-piste and no queuing.
Beginners

The Mount Hangur cable car rises 600m to the slopes in just 4 minutes and enables beginners to ride in comfort to the nursery slopes on the scenic plateau at the top. The exceptionally friendly ski school instructors speak excellent English and the group tuition offered will ensure you quick progress.
Intermediates

Intermediates will really enjoy the well-linked lift system and the immaculately groomed pistes. With virtually no queues and 40kms of piste, there is plenty of variety to keep the intermediate skier entertained on wide open “motorway” runs and beautiful tree-lined slopes. Voss is the insiders tip for off-piste skiing. A great place for aspiring intermediates to develop their powder technique.
Advanced

More experienced skiers can try the challenging runs from the Floytesteinen and Stettafjel, including some demanding competition runs down to Bavallen. There’s also plenty of off-piste and powder for the expert, or why not try telemarking, the fashionable way to ski in the land where it all began.
Snowboarding

The uncrowded slopes of Voss are a good place for beginners to take their first steps and gain confidence. Intermediate boarders will enjoy the snowboard park with Big Jump, Half Pipe and Boardercross.
