Sagnalonga Ski Resort
This resort is part of a linked ski area in the Milky Way region of Italy, with links to neighbouring ski locations Sestriere, Sauze d’Oulx and Claviére. The region has benefited from the investment of hosting the lucrative 2006 Winter Olympic Games and the destinations are brilliant for fun and satisfying skiing. The wide-ranging slopes and uncrowded runs suggest perfect conditions to cruise at your own pace. The resort is truly set in the wilderness, so expect to wrap up warm from arrival!
Beginners

Beginners runs fan out above the ski school meeting point in the resort' centre. Some slopes are quite precarious for the complete novice but there are some very sound runs through the woods which will help you gain confidence.
Intermediates

The Milky Way area is a utopia for intermediate skiers presenting new adventures and exploring every day no matter what resort you choose. It's simple to glide over to the pleasant wooded trails above neighbouring Sauze d'Oulx. The trails over to Montgenèvre can be tackled by intermediate skiers via blues and reds. It is an exciting trip as you have the feeling of travelling from village to village.
Advanced

There are some challenging blacks in Fraiteve and Moncrons and the off-piste is rarely skied out.
Snowboarding

There is a high-quality selection of terrain available, with off-piste in Sestriere to thrill more experienced borders.
