St. Sorlin d'Arves Ski Resort
St. Sorlin is part of the pretty Les Sybelles ski area with over 300km of piste. Continual improvements to the pistes and lifts are making this area an excellent alternative to the more expensive mainstream resorts. St Sorlin is a small, charming village with a typically French atmosphere and the buildings have a traditional, Savoyarde style.
Beginners

There are plenty of confidence building green and blue runs throughout the ski area, as well as gentle nursery slopes next to both villages. With two free nursery drag lifts and gentle slopes to master the basics, novice skiers will soon progress to the scenic runs at the top of the mountain.
Intermediates

The Sybelles offers plenty of terrain for intermediates, from wide open groomed runs at La Balme above St Sorlin, to sweeping runs through the trees to Le Corbiere. La Tousuire offers some fun reds and blues for thos venturing further afield - there is certainly plenty to keep everyone happy!
Advanced

There are six resorts covering 300kms of piste in Les Sybelles with a wide variety of terrain including a few challenging black runs. Head over to St Columban des Villards where the pistes are deserted and the scenery is beautiful for a unforgettable day. The Vallee Perdue to Le Corbier is also not to be missed.
Snowboarding

Les Sybelles offers some enjoyable and varied terrain with plenty to test the freerider. There is a snow park at both Le Corbier and La Toussuire to test your skills and beginners are well catered for with uncrowded, wide novice slopes.
