Les Deux Alpes Ski Resort
Set high up in the picturesque Dauphine region of the Southern Alps, Les Deux Alpes is one of France’s oldest and most prestigious ski resorts. This vast ski area ranks amongst the highest (3568m) and has a staggering 200kms of ski slopes. The resort has a lively and an especially friendly atmosphere, plus an excellent variety of interesting shops and boutiques, a heated outdoor pool and ice rink (free with the lift pass), and a myriad of lively bars and inviting restaurants.
Beginners

Les Deux Alpes is a great resort for beginners with gentle nursery slopes and easy blues. Beginners should quickly progress to “Les Crêtes” or the gentle glacier runs.
Intermediates

With 200kms of piste intermediates are spoilt for choice. The imposing Mont de Lans glacier ensures year round snow and provides spectacular high altitude skiing with the added bonus of runs which lead directly back to the village.
Advanced

There are numerous off-piste opportunities including the world renowned descent to La Grave which is open from the end of January to late April. On-piste blacks include the Super Diable and the Belle Etoile.
Snowboarding

This really is a top resort offering terrain to suit everyone. The boardpark at mid-station is well worth checking out with kickers, spines, rails and a boardercross course. The off-piste is huge and challenging, try Serre Chevalier for a day if you like trees. Beginners couldn’t ask for a better place for speedy progress.
