Yllas Ski Resort

You can now visit the fantastic Arctic adventure resort of Ylläs in magical Lapland. This resort is one of the largest ski areas in Finland with clear queues and a diverse choice of fun winter activities to try. A great choice for families, Ylläs is a full service ski and sport resort, always looking to improve and a gondola lift will be open for December 2007. There are two villages, Ylläsjarvi and Akäslompolo which are both humble in nature but with a range of local bars and restaurants to keep you occupied in the evening, and a free ski bus to the lifts. There is a choice of restaurants and the local Lapp specialities come highly recommended to those with a hearty appetite after a day on the slopes.
