Iso Syote Ski Resort

Located approximately 150 kilometres from the Arctic Circle, Iso-Syöte is Finland’s southernmost fell region and often referred to as the gateway to Lapland. The blanket of snow covering the trees and landscape transforms nature into a fairytale land. Iso-Syöte is a great place to learn to ski and experience adventure activities. It is a winter wonderland.

Beginners

Skiing in this resort is mainly suited to beginners with smooth runs down the fell. There are two dedicated family runs.

Intermediates

Ski from the hotel and cabins’ front doors. There are well groomed slopes and the Freeride run through the trees will delight you.

Advanced

There is not a great amount of challenging skiing, but seven slopes are floodlit until 7pm or 8pm on many evenings so you can enjoy the amazing dark Arctic sky with crisp snow under your skis.

Snowboarding

Try some tricks on Snowboard Street and the board park with half pipe, corners, boxes and rails. Slope 15 is a dedicated slope for freeriders.
