Söll
A firm favourite with the British, Söll is a lively and popular resort which lies at the foot of the famous Hohe Salve mountain and flanked by the mighty 'Wilder Kaiser' mountain range. It is an ideal choice for groups of mixed ability skiers, and is the main resort on the fantastic Ski Welt circuit - Austria’s biggest ski area, boasting over 200kms of runs. Söll has an attractive village centre with traditional Tyrolean buildings.
Beginners

Söll has an excellent ski school and gentle nursery slopes just on the edge of the village. The gondola system starts from here, taking improving novices up onto the Hohe Salve to enjoy several gentle slopes and incredible views. There is a lovely 2.5 mile “family” run down through the trees back to the nursery slopes.
Intermediates

An excellent choice of blue and red runs to keep the intermediate happy. For the more adventurous, the Ski Welt area pass, offers a superb choice of over 250kms of scenic runs connecting 93 lifts.
Advanced

As with intermediates, there is an amazing choice of long, well maintained slopes on the circuit. The back of Söll’s Hohe Salve also boasts several hair-raising blacks, plus exciting off-piste to really test the expert.
Snowboarding

Söll has a good attitude towards snowboarders, which is important when choosing a resort. Freeriders should make a bee-line for the Hohe Salve. For those more concerned with jumping check out the half-pipe and snowboard park.
