Neighbouring Söll is better known for its animated nightlife and is easy to get to if you want to explore farther than Hopfgarten’s bars and restaurants. The resort is ideal for intermediate skiers and snowboarders of all disciplines, with varied terrain and runs for the former, and a snowpark with half/quarter pipe and off piste for the latter. English-speaking instructors will help beginners to gain confidence on the softly sloping pistes, and advanced skiers will be in their element both off piste and gliding down the red and black runs. Hopfgarten also has a quick gondola ride to the Ski Welt which has over 250 Km’s of pistes, ensuring there is something for everyone.
