La Massana Ski Resort
This is one of the smaller and quieter resorts of Andorra but this certainly does not take away from the overwhelming beauty and fantastic ski opportunities. It is an ideal destination for beginners, improvers and families. Situated beside awesome mountains, with a picturesque lake at the top of the town, La Massana truly is an excellent setting for cruising around on the endless slopes and runs. Additionally, there is easy access to the best of the regions skiing.
Beginners




This is a fantastic resort to learn to ski in. Amongst the tree-lined plains there are gentle nursery slopes and a high-rated English speaking ski school which are all intended to help build up your confidence and have tremendous fun at the same time.
Intermediates




There is an abundance of clement blue and red runs at the top of the Pic Negre where you can glide your way through stunning, tree-dotted hillsides. Indulging in a day trip to local Arcalis is also not to be missed for providing further slopes and exciting runs.
Advanced



There is a steep unpisted black run from the summit of the Pic Alt de la Capa that will thrill and exhilarate you. Those who are more advanced will undoubtedly broaden their holiday experience by visiting Arcalis for further black runs and a selection of great off-piste opportunities.
Snowboarding




La Massana is truly brilliant for snowboarders of all disciplines and there is plenty to keep you occupied and challenged. The terrain varies with exciting runs and dips, and not to be missed is the huge freestyle snow park that is loaded with half pipes, kickers, rails, boarder cross, quarter pipe and a chill out area.

Apres Ski
La Massana is a perfect resort for a peaceful winter holiday. It is currently an up and coming town and therefore far from bustling and over-crowded. Rather, it stays on the side of traditional, friendly and quiet which is wonderful for those who seek a relaxing, low-key break. There are a selection of local restaurants and bars to help you unwind in the immediate locality, however if you get the need to go wild and dance until 4am, you can visit next-door Andorra la Vella, the capital town of Andorra, where there is an abundance of bars and nightclubs.

You can take a wander around the quaint village and shops or visit the Romanesque monuments for an injection of culture. Nearby locations (of which are easily accessible via cable car), offer fun-filled pursuits such as the following:
