Kranjska Gora Ski Resort

This enchanting and picturesque village nestles against the foothills of the magnificent Julian Alps, just a few miles from the Italian and Austrian borders. Kranjska Gora is a classic alpine resort and a great place for beginners and families, with a high standard of accommodation and service (all at fantastic value for money prices)! Snow cannons have been recently installed on the lower slopes and the resort regularly hosts the FIS World Cup races. Kranjska Gora assures an unforgettable and fun filled skiing experience!

Beginners

A great resort for beginners with gentle nursery slopes conveniently situated close to the village and most hotels. Under excellent tuition, beginners will soon be advancing to the more varied and attractive runs. Our “Learn to Ski” package will be particularly attractive to all novice skiers.

Intermediates

Intermediates will gain maximum advantage from the wide variety of runs on the Vitranc, not only because of the diversity of terrain, but also because of the fantastic descent through the tree lined pistes. More proficient skiers will then ski back to the resort (under normal conditions).

Advanced

Experienced skiers should immediately head for the strenuous black pistes of the Podkoren Mountain, where they will also have the opportunity to tackle the World Cup slalom run.

Snowboarding

This area offers some good terrain for freeriding. It is also a great place for beginners to introduce yourselves to the sport. Good instruction is available.
