Bled Bohinj Ski Resort

This beautiful region framed by the majestic Julian Alps in the north-west of Slovenia, is one of the most picturesque and unspoilt skiing regions. Ideal for those seeking tranquillity, high standards of service and excellent value for money. Bled lies by the peaceful lake and the tiny wooded island “Maria of the Lake”. The compact ski area of Straza is accessed by chairlift from Bled’s centre, whilst Kobla and Vogel ski areas are a scenic half an hour ride on the ski bus (FREE with lift pass).

Beginners

On Kobla beginners will be able to master the basic techniques before testing the wide open runs on Vogel’s superb plateau. First time skiers will make quick progress under the skilful instruction of the Bohinj Ski School - our “Learn to Ski” package offers great value for money here!

Intermediates

This is an ideal region to improve your skiing confidence. Select your choice of descent down the pine-clad pistes of Kobla and Vogel where you can be assured of a variety of runs.

Advanced

For the more proficient skier, Vogel has a marvellous 8,5km run going over the back of the mountain and descending to the magnificent lakeside area below.

Snowboarding

A great value place to try your first turns on a snowboard. The area also offers some interesting terrain for freeriders and those wanting to jump will not be disappointed.
